Officers Field, designed by HTA Architects was announced as the supreme winner. The scheme, located in Weymouth, Dorset, also scooped awards for best family homes and best social housing project.

Comprising 58 contemporary and sustainable homes, Officers Fields is a comfortable  and stylish environment for the modern family. Split into two levels, the upper and the lower, each one boasts specific facilities and features.

The development was built with sustainable practice in mind. Biomass heating, wood pellet stoves and rainwater harvesting systems have been installed. The timber frame homes are all Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4. In response to the Government’s NPPF all homes are in-keeping with the local environment. Portland stone and other locally sourced materials were used for the build.

The award winning development currently provides accommodation for Olympic sailing athletes. In close proximity to the National Sailing Centre, Officers Fields provides both training and recreational benefits.

To further their sustainable approach, Developer ZeroC plan to install an electric car club for development use.

Properties will be available for purchase and rent after the Olympics. Prices range from £160,000 to £420,000.
